Na Roda Offerings
Our school connects passionate lovers of Brazilian music with great instruction. Want to play bossa nova, samba, choro, forró, frevo, or any of the other myriad forms of Brazil? Our teachers are performers, composers, arrangers. Whether you play percussion in a samba school, sing and play piano in a jazz combo, guitar, or something more exotic, we have an expert for you. Na Roda instructors are steeped in the traditions, the jam sessions, the lore, and the spirit; the regional folk styles, sophisticated pop (known as MPB), and its jazz.

Our primary offering is one-on-one personal Lessons in Rio de Janeiro for virtually any instrument (including voice) or style. We also offer Workshops in Rio as special events. In the future, we aspire to offer Virtual Classroom lessons to anywhere with a high-speed Internet connection.
